At Cambridge Soccer Academy, we LOVE the game of soccer and our main objective is to pass on this love for the game to the next generation. In order to achieve this goal, our approach is based on the following guiding principles: 1. Have fun playing soccer Practices and games should be fun – when the game stops being fun, players tend not to play as well and both coaches and players may get frustrated and eventually leave the game
2. Provide top level youth coaching We are dedicated to providing top level coaching to youth soccer players
3. Long-term individual player development Our coaches’ ultimate focus is on the long-term development of each individual player and not short-term goals. Coaches will use age appropriate games and activities during practices
4. Teamwork, respect and fair play In addition to achieving a sense of accomplishment through learning and mastering skills, soccer is a great way for young players to learn good values that they can carry in other aspects of their lives: - Friendship and the value of being part of a team
- Respecting coaches and teammates
- Sportsmanship and fair play
